I was super excited to get to work with this kit this month! So bright and fun and summery. And the lace in here is GORGEOUS! I can’t wait to use it on more projects. Click on the image above to order.

Life is Sweet Altered Canvas

Supplies: Ricrac and lace from the kit, acrylic paint, various inks, vintage French book text, tissue paper, Martha Stewart glitter, Autumn Leaves buttons, American Crafts Thickers and rubons, raffle ticket, Maya Road chipboard ice cream top, extra-fine sharpie

Notes: I created the ice-cream cone out of a page from a vintage (1920s) French book and stripes of ricrac slightly aged with ink. The “ice cream” part of the cone started with a maya road chipboard shape from the cupcake set. I covered with glue and layers and layers of crumpled tissue paper. Finished it off with some glitter and tiny buttons.

Summer Planner

I’m really loving these older WRMK papers right now! So much fun for summer.

Supplies: ribbons from the kit, WRMK papers, 7gypsies gaffer tape, bind-it-all coils

Notes: I used ribbons from the kit on the bookmarks and on the front of the book. I LOVE swiss dot grosgrain because you are effectively getting two ribbons for the price of one. You can use the dotted side or flip it over for a coordinating solid. The same ribbon that is used on the bookmarks is flipped over and used on the front of the book.

Meeting Sam

Supplies: red pompom trim from the kit, WRMK papers, handmade flowers, Pink Paislee and American Crafts stickers.

Notes: this super simple layout really benefited by adding the red pom-pom trim as an extra textural element.

Everyday Cards

Simple cards made from scraps.

Supplies: Trim and ribbon from the kit, WRMK papers, 7Gypsies seal, primas, buttons

Smile Chipboard Gift Album

Supplies: Lots of ribbons, ricrac, and trim from the kit as well as extras from my stash, Cosmo Cricket papers and stickers, 7gypsies gaffer tape, Primas, various buttons

Notes: These little books are SOOOO much fun to make, I’m kind of addicted. There are several more pages, but I’ve just included the one as an example.
